1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Movie Posterize ("the Service") at movieposterize.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Movie Posterize is an AI-powered tool that transforms photos you upload into cinematic movie posters using Google's Gemini AI image generation technology. Poster generation consumes credits, which are provided free on sign-up and can be purchased in packs.

3. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Credits & Payments

• Each poster generation consumes one credit. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.
• Purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by law or where a generation fails due to a fault in the Service.
• Prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change; changes will not affect credits already purchased.

5. Your Content

• You retain ownership of the photos you upload and the posters generated from them.
• You grant us a limited license to store and process your photos solely to operate the Service (including sending them to Google's Gemini API to generate your posters).
• You must only upload photos that you own or have permission to use, including the consent of any people shown in them.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that harasses or impersonates others.
• Upload photos of individuals without their consent, or of minors in inappropriate contexts.
• Infringe any third party's intellectual property or publicity rights, or pass off generated posters as official studio material.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Posters are generated by AI and results may vary. We do not guarantee any particular quality, likeness accuracy, or suitability of generated images. Generated posters are inspired by cinematic styles and are intended for personal, non-commercial enjoyment; you are responsible for how you use them.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its design, branding, code, and features — is owned by Movie Posterize and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Movie titles referenced in the app are the property of their respective owners and are used only as creative inspiration.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited unless the termination was caused by our fault.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Movie Posterize shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
